AUSSIE HOOPS is a program for children under 10yrs of age to learn the fundamentals of the game of Basketball under tutelage from professional coaches. The emphasis is on fun while learning entry level basketball skills in each session.

Safety Requirements: All Martial Arts & Wrestling members must wear footwear to activities. Dirty feet create a dirty floor. However, NO SHOES are allowed ON THE MATS. Jewellery should not be worn or if unavoidable covered with surgical tape. Long fingernails/toenails are an unacceptable risk. Please ensure they are kept trimmed.

Boxing

A two hour class. Covering basic fitness for boxing - skipping, running, jumping & arm work and competitive training i.e. sparring & fighting techniques. What to bring-covered shoes, skipping rope, boxing gloves, water bottle.

Jujitsu (Tohkon Ryu); Karate (JKA); Judo

What to bring/wear – if you don’t have the Gi (uniform) wear long track pants & crew neck tee shirt, or clothing that doesn’t restrict movement & can withstand contact.

Olympic Wrestling

Olympic wrestling (male and female) is fun, vigorous and competitive. It develops a variety of fitness, motor, mental & social skills. What to bring – water bottle, towel, boxer shorts and T-shirt.

Weights and Cardio.

There are two rooms - one has weights & one has cardio equipment such as treadmills, rowing machines, bikes & cross trainers. What to bring–YOU MUST HAVE A TOWEL, COVERED SHOES & WATER BOTTLE.

Fitness Fever

Fitness Fever is designed to give you the most effective way to get fit & strong. The variety of class layouts will keep you interested & having fun. Activities include; outdoor warm up followed by indoor circuit cardio and strength training. The main aim is to have fun & get fit. What to bring- covered shoes, towel, water bottle, boxing gloves if you have them.

Spin Classes

45 minutes of cycling. Your instructor will take you on a virtual bike ride up & down flat roads, hills & other paths. All done to up beat music it’s sure to burn fat & increase your fitness. What to bring-covered shoes & you must have a towel & water bottle. Take advantage of our 10 Visit Spin Passes - ONLY $85

PILATES

Pilates works on strengthening your core and enhancing flexibility. It is one of the most effective forms of exercise to change body shape and tone up as it targets all of the muscles in the body. What to Bring - water bottle and BYO mat (Pilates/Yoga Mat).

O.F.F. (OVER FIFTIES FITNESS)

Designed for the Over 50's. Promotes better health and movement for the mature aged using low impact cardio, strength and flexibility excercises.

Fit Camp

Fun outdoor training with a wet weather indoor alternative. Surround yourself with a great group of people on a common mission to become fit , healthy people. Our trainers cater for all fitness levels. Contact Fit2Excel on 3369 2647 prior to attending a class for essential Fit Camp information.

MUM'S WITH BUB'S

This is an exercise class where you get to work out with your baby! This class offers the convenience of a great workout without having to hire a baby-sitter! A fantastic reason to get out of the house and meet other mums. It is also a fantastic way to improve your fitness levels, improve your sleep, increase your metabolism and lose the baby weight. Under the direction of our qualified instructor, these classes are sure to be the fun way to fitness!  What to Bring - pram, baby sling, baby capsule, items to keep your baby entertained. (Please note that it would be ideal if you were able to bring all of those items, however it is not essential to)

SOUND & MOVEMENT

A fun and energetic space for toddlers (3 - 5yrs) to play, explore and express themselves through movement.

This class supports the established Tiny Tots program by providing focused time for children, to further develop their coordination, balance, body awareness, creativity, language and rhythm. Class numbers are limited to 16 children to ensure that there is enough space to run, jump and dance.

 

Some of the activities listed require joining fees to STATE BODIES. Proof of membership is required or non– membership fee will be charged.
